The Water, Research and Training Centre is a non governmental, non profit educational foundation working for Myanmar and other developing countries by promoting and improving their access to research and training opportunities and education in the water and rural sector. 

About Us

Founded in June 1997, registered under the Netherland Law on 8 September, 1997. It also is a member of the Dutch Chamber of Commerce.(KvK No. 41160487). The WRTC is 150 members strong and the nineteen person board of governors advises and directs the WRTC research, training, consultancy, advocacy, networking and information dissemination services.

New Initiative: PROGRAMMATIC APPROACH TO AGRICULTURAL WATER MANAGEMENT

WRTC believes that In the face of increasing water scarcity, and the dominance of agricultural water use as a global trend, Myanmar stands a better chance to enhance agricultural performance while promoting the sustainability of water use for food production. This initative will be addressing (1) water use efficiency and productivity.(2) best practices for water use and conservation, throughout the continuum from water sources to final uses.This work is dedicated to the"Water Security" and "Food Security" in Myanmar!
